New Grandview Stage owners Del and Lesley Ramage bought
the Grandview Stage in December of 2003. Lesley worked 23
years for Telus and Del was a senior manager of a
computerized sawmill equipment company in Salmon Arm.
Newlyweds in 2002, both Del and Les were laid off in 2003,
so figured opportunity must be knocking. They packed up
the camper and went hunting for a business, and found
Grandview Stage ready and waiting for their arrival. It’s
been fun and adventure ever since!
Being young enough to have fun, and old enough not to take
life too seriously, Del and Les are in business to have
fun with customers and employees alike. “Life’s too short
not to enjoy every minute. Our objective is to create a
warm and comfortable atmosphere where visitors and locals
alike can enjoy good home-style cooking at a reasonable
price, quality accommodations, and cheerful friendly
service. We are always looking to add interesting and
entertaining events to our schedule such as our Entertainment Nights, and
special events such as our ice fishing derby in February,
and the summer Music Festival. We
love the small community life here around Cow Lake. We
take every opportunity we can to enjoy it and give our
best efforts to ensure others do as well.”
