COW LAKE ICE FISHING DERBY, SUN, FEB 19
Our ANNUAL FAMILY DAY ICE FISHING DERBY is on Family Day Weekend, Sunday, Feb 20. Great fun, great prizes, only $15 and free hot dogs and pop, coffee. C’mon out. Registration starts 7 am, breakfast buffet available. Fishing start 9 am to 2 pm.
Grandview Stage Spring Concert Series
Oh My Darling, an all-girl quartet making big waves on Independent stations in Canada, brings their Sweet Nostalgia CD release tour to Grandview Stage on Sat March 17 (wear green, it’s St Patrick’s Day). Their Prairie roots mixed with bluegrass, Appalachian old time, southern twang, and Franco-folk, makes their style a melting pot of musical languages. Infused with dynamic vocals, brilliant claw-hammer banjo, inspired fiddling, and grooving bass, their music will get your hips swinging, toes tapping, and put your heart right into their hands.
